A follow-up corrective procedure can address these issues and create a smoother corneal surface, improving visual quality.

How is a post-correction performed?

A laser eye enhancement is similar to the original procedure but is often less invasive and requires a shorter recovery time. The surgeon uses a laser again to further reshape the cornea and correct any remaining refractive errors.
